Support for the establishment of the Council of Central Banks of Turkish States by TDT member countries

According to a statement from the Government of Kazakhstan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Economy Nurlan Baybazarov participated in the 13th meeting of the TDT Ministers responsible for Economics and Trade held in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.

During the meeting, the ministers from TDT member countries supported Kazakhstan’s initiatives to establish both the Council of Central Banks of Turkish States and the Green Economy Council.

Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev recently suggested the creation of the Turkish Central Banks Council at the "TDT Heads of State Informal Summit" held in Shusha, Azerbaijan, noting that the total gross domestic product of member countries reached 1.5 trillion dollars.

The next meeting, scheduled to take place in Turkistan, Kazakhstan, will discuss the plan to establish the "Turan" Free Economic Zone.
